Location: Bristol, England. The Nimbus is insanely good, they totally nailed everything, the transfer, mastering and the pressing, I'm struggling to think of any other records that are as well done let alone other Beatles ones, possibly some Jazz titles, if only all vinyl was made so well. Thanks! The nicesest thing about it is the fact that the people there had thousands of pieces of vinyl and that was the only Beatles one I found after searching for 1 hour and when I saw the Parlophone sign I tried to act cool and even asked for a discount which in Greece where I live, for now, you get by simply not getting a receipt. 33 euros that find and I couldn't be happier.
This is my comparison between the UK first pressing of Sgt Pepper’s, and the Beatles in Mono CD version which was released in 2009. My equipment is as follows: Rega Planar 1 turntable; Art DJ Pre II preamp; Fosi V3 amplifier; Boston A25 speakers.
. 5. Mann_Aus_Sydney • 2 yr. ago. I got this 1967 pressing of sgt pepper's lonely hearts club band record today. The sleeve has seen better days. But the record itself still plays surprisingly well. On the back it says that "a splendid time is guaranteed for all" I definitely agree because sgt pepper's is such a great record.

Stan94 said: ↑. It's French indeed, but a mono pressing. Depending on the colour of the label, you can date it: red Odeon, it's 1967, if it's a black Odeon then it's a 1969 pressing, if it's a blue/white label, then it's a 1972 pressing. Pick yours! Some Y/B Parlophone labels were released in 1967 as well.
